C Operator

A Day in the Life:

This position is located in the Bunge North America soybean processing plant in Decatur IN. The C Operator is responsible for safely and accurately loading trucks and rail cars. Employees must actively participate in Bunges Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.

Position Details:

7p-7a 4 on/4 off schedule

Hourly pay rate: $30.94

What Youll Be Doing:

• Load and unload trucks and rail cars
• Transfer oil to the packaging plant and obtain samples
• Wash rail cars
• Responsible to adhere to the Food Safety Culture to provide safe product to consumers
• Report any concerns with safe food practices
• Perform department sanitation duties
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Must have a commitment to supply safe food maintain a food safety culture within the site continually improve the sites food safety management system and comply with customer and regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic computer and mechanical skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work safely and follow policies and procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime flexible hours weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work 2nd / 3rd shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in an industrial environment
