Minimum Qualifications
- Must have completed at least one of the following:
- 36 college credit hours
- Completed Missouris 20-hour online substitute training program
Nice-to-Haves- Skills and qualities that are a plus but not necessarily a requirement
- Successful experience in an elementary or middle school setting
- Fluency in French Mandarin or Spanish
Responsibilities
- Assignments vary by building needs.
- Support lunch and recess periods by providing active supervision.
- Monitor student culture and safety building-wide.
- Oversee various areas of classroom instruction following guides provided by the classroom teacher.
- Lead whole class small group and individual learning.
- Collaborate with the entire K-8 team to promote higher levels of learning for all students.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is competitive and ranges from $37450 - $43228 depending on experience.SLLIS also offers the following:

SLLIS has a multi-stage hiring process which includes a phone screening interview an interview with our Talent Committee and a final interview with our administration team.
