Contract Position Buffalo County Sheriffs Office
The Buffalo County Sheriffs Office is seeking proposals from an experienced LMHP or higher or PLMHP with desired experience and supervision to serve as a contracted therapist at the Buffalo County Jail providing mental Health Services & identifying substance misuse. This contracted role will provide no more than 24 hours a week assisting with a team-based approach between Jail Medical Jail Security and Jail Admin. A second and vital piece for the contract position is collaboration between law enforcement CoResponder Unit County Attorneys Office and Region 3 representatives while working with individuals experiencing behavioral health crisis. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for October 1 2026.
