Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire Day Shift 5:30 AM-5:00 PM Overtime required including some Saturdays
Pronto Staffing is seeking a dependable machine operator for a busy production setting.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable team member to run a press brake this role you will shape and bend sheet metal based on project plans. You will also check your own work to make sure it meets quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and run manual or computerized press brake machines to shape metal
Read and follow blueprints drawings and work orders
Pick and install the right tools for each job
Check part quality using tape measures calipers and gauges
Move materials and finished parts safely around the shop
Use basic hand tools and enter work details into a computer
Keep your work area clean and follow all safety rules
Requirements
Experience operating press brake equipment
Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
Ability to use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers
Basic computer skills to track time and materials
Ability to speak and understand English
Must have steel toe boots safety glasses earplugs and gloves
Background check and drug screening may be required
Work Environment
Stand for up to 90% of the work day
Lift up to 50 pounds at times
Work inside a fast-paced manufacturing facility
Work around loud machine noise and in areas without air conditioning or heating
