Job Description:
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise service management and workflow automation. You will work on both ongoing enhancements and re-implementation initiatives leveraging your expertise to improve platform capabilities streamline processes and enhance user experience. This role requires strong technical proficiency the ability to work independently and close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop configure test and deploy ServiceNow solutions for backlog and enhancement requests
  • Utilize workflow automation tools such as Flow Designer to implement business processes
  • Design and enhance Service Catalog items and improve self-service capabilities within the Service Portal
  • Maintain and optimize knowledge management structures and governance within the platform
  • Participate in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations including design integration testing and deployment
  • Develop and support integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights
  • Document technical processes configurations and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Continuously improve platform performance and adopt best practices

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

  • 3 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer or Administrator
  • Experience participating in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations
  • Strong expertise in ITSM modules including Incident Problem Change Knowledge and Request Management
  • Experience with Customer Service Management (CSM) modules
  • Working knowledge of HRSD and CMDB modules
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow development including Client Scripts Business Rules UI Policies and workflows
  • Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and automation capabilities
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow integration protocols (REST/SOAP)
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and change management processes
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer (preferred)
  • Experience in higher education or public sector environments (preferred)

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
