Role Overview
We are seeking a BI Reporting Analyst to support reporting environment. This role focuses on Power BI dashboards and SQL troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights to IT and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Power BI reports (up to 55 reports simultaneously).
Use SQL queries (inner joins outer joins) to identify and isolate data issues directly in the database.
Distinguish between report logic errors and database data errors.
Provide IT with precise SQL statements highlighting where issues occur rather than bulk data dumps.
Collaborate with IT to resolve allocation discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
Communicate findings clearly and effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills
Strong handson experience with Power BI (report creation maintenance troubleshooting).
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and issue identification.
Ability to handle high report volume and prioritize effectively.
Solid communication skills to explain technical findings in a clear actionable manner.
Analytical mindset with a workhorse mentality able to react quickly and provide IT with actionable insights.
Preferred Background
Prior experience in BI reporting roles with large report portfolios.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and validate data issues using SQL.
Strong collaboration with IT and business teams in fastpaced environments
Required Skills:
Design develop and support AI-driven solutions to enhance monitoring alerting and incident response workflows Leverage tools such as Copilot ChatGPT and Anthropic (Claude) to build and optimize automation and operational efficiencies Partner with internal AI governance teams (AICOE) to align with standards and best practices Contribute to long-term initiatives enabling cross-platform AI integration and automation Observability & Monitoring Platforms Support and maintain platforms such as SolarWinds Datadog Dynatrace and Opsgenie (or similar) Ensure platform health upgrades patching and onboarding of new systems/devices Improve alert quality signal-to-noise ratio and event routing accuracy Collaborate with platform owners to enhance integrations and monitoring coverage Systems Administration (Required) Provide hands-on support for Linux and Windows servers Perform agent deployments upgrades and troubleshooting Support monitoring/logging enablement across hybrid environments (on-prem cloud) Cloud & Azure Monitoring Work within Microsoft Azure environments supporting monitoring and logging capabilities Utilize tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Ensure visibility and observability for cloud-hosted workloads
