New Berlin Hills Golf Course located in New Berlin WI is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Beverage Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)
Schedule:
Must be available for the full golf season (approximately AprilOctober).
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirms the beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
- Stocks and cleans the beverage cart throughout the day.
- Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
- Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt efficient and personalized manner.
- Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
- Responds to customer questions regarding general facility information.
- Reviews schedules for changes calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.
- Maintains accountability for all checks and cash transactions that may at times be high volume.
- Utilizes the Point-of-Sale system (POS) and creates daily sales reports.
- Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and the Chef.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Experience preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid drivers license required.
- Valid New Berlin or Wisconsin bartender license required or the ability to obtain one.
Environment/Noise:
- Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions including warm cold wet and dry.
