Job Summary
Job Profile SummaryProvides direct and indirect counseling services to patients and their families using individual group and family therapy. Provides bio-psychosocial assessments risk assessments treatment planning and coordination with multidisciplinary team. Remains open to clinical and peer supervision process.

Provides direct and indirect clinical/therapy services to patients and families covering a broad range of standard practice modalities and theories biopsychosocial assessments diagnostic determinations individual group and family therapy aftercare services.
Participates in the planning development and implementation of the therapeutic program including strategies for quality improvement patient satisfaction regulatory adherence and associated policies processes chart audits.
Develops an individualized treatment plan including measurable treatment goals related to patients presenting problems. Participates as an active member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
Performs case management responsibilities involved with patient care. This includes but is not limited to Utilization Review Discharge Planning Family Involvement/Education timely and appropriate documentation as needed.
Serves as team lead and operates as a resource to staff. Supervises graduate students as field instructor/site supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or related human services field of study.
Experience - Two (2) years of experience providing direct counseling care in a behavioral care setting. Hospital or community agency setting preferred.

Team members employed in this job prior to July 1 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience addition team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
Required Certifications Registrations Licenses
Currently licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state the team member is working or currently licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state the team member is working or currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state the team member is working Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists or currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state the team member is working or currently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for team members working in TN.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Group individual and family therapy skills psychiatric problem-solving abilities assessment skills treatment planning skills.
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills across multiple professions/disciplines.
Knowledge of computer software and utilization of electronic medical record.
