We are seeking a full-time on-site Speech-Language Pathologist to join a collaborative school team for maternity leave coverage from September to December. This position supports a preschool caseload of about 45 students providing meaningful high-quality speech-language services in an educational setting.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
  • Complete evaluation reports and all required documentation.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students.
  • Collaborate with teachers families and the special education team to support student success.
  • Foster communication development and help preschool students achieve their individualized goals throughout this temporary maternity leave assignment.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings.
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting is preferred.
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license and ESA certification.
  • This is an on-site position. Candidates must be available to provide in-person services; remote/teletherapy is not available.
