Salary Range: $18-$20 plus tips
Bather Job Description
Bathe dogs according to established salon procedures
Trim nails safely and appropriately
Dry dogs using proper equipment and techniques
Assist Groomers with preparation and handling of pets
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bathing areas and equipment
Safely restrain and handle animals during bathing and grooming support
Monitor pets for signs of stress or discomfort and report concerns to supervisor
Support overall salon operations as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

This position requires many types of movement and the handling of heavy items. The employee must be able to stand for extended periods bend kneel lift and restrain animals of varying sizes. The role requires frequent use of hands and arms and the ability to lift and maneuver pets and equipment as necessary.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
No prior experience required
Preferred Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
One to three years of related experience in a pet salon grooming environment or animal care setting
