JOB DESCRIPTION:

Seeking a dynamic Head Bartender to spearhead our renowned Brazos PTK restaurants bartending team now expanding to include a brand-new in-restaurant bar! This role demands expertise in crafting unique cocktails and beverages with a focus on delivering a top-tier experience for our guests. From providing swift pre-dinner drinks to curating a cozy ambiance in our upscale bar space the Head Bartender will play a pivotal role in elevating our guests dining experience.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • $12/hr. tips Biweekly (every two weeks)

    SCHEDULE:

    The hospitality industry is 24 hours a day seven days a week and 365 days of the year. All candidates must be available and are expected to work Texas A&M football game days Ring Days graduations and other high occupancy times due to special events. We strive hard to manage and minimalize overtime but it should and will be expected when business levels call for it.

    • Full-time: 30-40 hours per week depending on level of business forecasted
    • Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Assist with weekly ordering needs.
    • Assist with redeveloping and improving beverage menus.
    • In charge of training all new bartenders
    • Assist leadership with ensuring team members follow procedures and standards.
    • Compose and be knowledgeable of standard drinks and liquors or wines specific to lounge bar.
    • Plan and maintain par levels for bar inventory. Prepare daily orders for bar items to maintain parts.
    • Responsible for cash handling and bank procedures as outlined by the Accounting Department.
    • Perform accurate bar inventories as outlined by leadership expectations.
    • Responsible for learning suggestive selling techniques and using them during services.
    • Maintain cleanliness of all workplace areas that apply to the bar.
    • Maintain perfectly crisp professional image and uniform.

    What are we looking for

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Two to three years bartending experience.
    • Craft cocktail experience preferred.
    • Extensive liquor beer wine and mixology knowledge.
    • Excellent customer service skills in an upscale hospitality-focused environment.
    • Pleasant and helpful personality.
