Bartender- Part-Time- Renaissance Allentown

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly attentive service.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Take food and beverage orders and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Accurately process cash credit card room charge and other transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar service areas and equipment.
• Restock liquor beer wine mixers garnishes glassware and supplies as needed.
• Monitor guest consumption and exercise responsible alcohol service practices.
• Maintain knowledge of current drink menus specials promotions and hotel offerings.
• Assist with opening and closing duties including inventory and cash reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff servers and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all company policies health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of beer wine spirits and cocktail preparation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Must obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certifications.
• Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to reach bend stoop and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a busy hospitality environment.
