Joseph Automotive is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our service operations and maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for customer service operational excellence employee development and achieving departmental goals.

As Service Manager you will oversee all aspects of the service department including staff leadership customer satisfaction technician productivity financial performance warranty administration and process improvement.

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the service department to ensure exceptional customer experiences and efficient workflow.
• Recruit train mentor and develop service advisors technicians and support staff.
• Drive department profitability through effective labor sales parts utilization and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including customer satisfaction technician productivity labor gross profit and repair order performance.
• Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving concerns quickly and professionally.
• Ensure service appointments workflow scheduling and repair order processes are executed effectively.
• Oversee warranty administration and ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies.
• Collaborate with Parts Sales and Fixed Operations teams to maximize dealership performance.
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Analyze service department reports and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive team-oriented culture focused on accountability communication and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state local and manufacturer requirements.

• Previous automotive service management experience required.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing service teams.
• Strong understanding of dealership service operations financial management and fixed operations metrics.
• Excellent leadership coaching and team-building skills.
• Outstanding communication and customer relationship management abilities.
• Ability to effectively handle customer concerns and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and service technology platforms.
• Results-driven with a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
