Job Summary

Job Title: Automation Engineer/QA Engineer

Location: Frisco TX

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description

Design build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Java Selenium and Test Grid Playwright
a) Strong proficiency in Java for test development
b) Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for browser automation
c) Working knowledge of Playwright (TypeScript or Java bindings)
d) Experience with TestNG JUnit or similar test frameworks
Develop end-to-end integration and regression test suites for web and API-based applications
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar)
Perform functional testing of telecom systems such as retail care digital TfB and Backoffice systems.
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand telecom-specific requirements.
Identify log and track defects using tools like JIRA and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Design and manage test data for telecom use cases ensuring data integrity and relevance.
Prepare detailed test documentation including test plans execution reports and defect summaries.
Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA process improvements.
5 6 years of experience in functional testing with a strong focus on telecom systems.
Hands-on experience with TestGrid Playwright for test automation.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies practices.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
