Job Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will lead automation and electrical projects that support safe efficient plant operations. You will provide technical expertise in troubleshooting problem-solving and system alignment with company standards while supporting continuous improvement across the site.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Provide daily automation support to operations and facilities teams

  • Execute automation and electrical projects to improve equipment reliability and performance

  • Develop and deliver training to strengthen automation electrical and instrumentation knowledge across the site

  • Align information technology and operational technology infrastructure programming and equipment with company standards

  • Participate in daily production meetings and support Early Management and Preventive Maintenance initiatives

  • Partner on equipment obsolescence planning and ensure compliance with safety environmental and good manufacturing practices requirements

  • Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and to quality standards

  • Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams including providing off-hours support as needed

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelors degree in engineering electronics information technology or related field preferred or equivalent experience

  • At least 1 year of programmable logic controller programming experience

  • Knowledge of electrical principles and components such as human machine interfaces servo controllers variable frequency drives sensors and process instrumentation

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to apply engineering principles in complex situations

  • Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as Food and Drug Administration United States Department of Agriculture or Process Safety Management is a plus

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules blueprints electrical schematics and piping and instrumentation diagrams

  • Proficiency with standard computer programs including email and Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites the physical requirements below may apply:
You may be required to walk around the facility climb stairs/ladders kneel or performrepetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size.
This is a manufacturing environment with large moving equipment. Noise levels can be high and temperatures may vary.

Compensation

Pay Range:$64000-$95000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employees actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal Conagra employees Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
