Autoclave Technician

Safety Kleenlocated inRichmond CAis seeking to add a team ofAutoclave Technicians.TheAutoclave Technicianswill be responsible for processing medical waste in the medical processing side of the facility. This includes using an autoclave.

Pay: $25/HR to start

Requirements: Hepatitis B vaccine- can complete after hire. $750 bonus after completion is available.

Shift:Need open availability to work either days or nights. 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm. Monday-Friday. OT and weekends as needed.

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

• Operate an autoclave to process medical waste;

• Load and unload route trucks;

• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center;

• Manage inventory order and receiving process;

• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;

• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required;

• Forklift skills are required;

• Medical waste or sterilizing experience is a plus but not required;

• Experience and familiarity with Excel Word etc;

• 1 plus years of related labor and computer experience preferred.
