Were looking for an Audio/Visual Project Lead / Senior Technician to help oversee our field operations and continue delivering the high-quality installations our clients expect.

Position Summary:

This is a hands-on position responsible for managing client projects from approval through completion while serving as the technical lead in the field when needed. The ideal candidate is highly organized an excellent communicator and enjoys balancing project management with advanced installation work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage residential and commercial A/V projects from kickoff through completion.
• Coordinate schedules with clients builders designers and technicians.
• Review project proposals drawings and equipment prior to installation.
• Order track and verify project materials.
• Monitor project timelines labor budgets and change orders.
• Lead installation teams and provide technical guidance on job sites.
• Install configure and troubleshoot A/V networking surveillance and automation systems.
• Perform final quality control inspections and client walkthroughs.
• Train and mentor technicians while maintaining JL Entertainment Designs installation standards.
• Maintain clear project documentation and communicate project updates with leadership clients builders designers and technicians.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in custom A/V low-voltage networking or home automation.
• Previous project management or lead technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial networking.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
