What Youll Do

• Handle contract disputes provider litigation and overpayment recovery.
• Conduct detailed claims analysis across large datasets.
• Perform legal research and draft motions to compel and dismiss.
• Handle extensive discovery.
• Manage a large docket of 200 active cases with a high level of responsiveness.
• Assist with arbitration preparation and behind-the-scenes legal work.

What Theyre Looking For

• The top priorities are strong professional judgment work ethic and dependability. You should have strong legal writing skills and the ability to bill time.
• Defense-side litigation experience including insurance defense or medical malpractice is preferred. Plaintiff-side workers compensation and lemon law backgrounds are not the target profile.
• Youll need to be comfortable working independently getting granular with research and case analysis and learning healthcare-specific subject matter.

Compensation & Bonus

• $125000$180000 base salary DOE
• $10000 bonus at 2000 billable hours
• Additional $10000 for every 100 hours thereafter
• 1800 annual billable-hour requirement
• Performance-based increases
• Path toward inheriting client relationships

Work Arrangement

• 100% remote with candidates required to remain in the same time zone. The team is open to 23 annual team lunches and a holiday party.
