An established New York law firm is seeking an experienced Elder Law Attorney to join its growing practice in Hauppauge. This senior-level opportunity is focused on Elder Law Medicaid planning asset protection long-term care planning crisis Medicaid matters and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients regarding Medicaid eligibility and planning.
• Develop asset protection strategies.
• Develop pre-planning and crisis planning solutions.
• Oversee Medicaid applications and appeals.
• Counsel clients regarding long-term care nursing home placement and community Medicaid programs.
• Handle estate planning matters.
• Work closely with families navigating healthcare and financial challenges.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Experience with Elder Law Medicaid Planning Estate Planning Trusts or Estates.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and crisis planning strategies.
• Strong communication client service and organizational skills.

Work Arrangement

• This position is onsite only at the Hauppauge NY office.

Compensation

• $150000$200000 salary range.
• Discretionary year-end bonus paid in December.
