About the Role:

A growing multi-state defense litigation firm is seeking an experienced and driven Litigation Attorney to join its Dallas office. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned attorney who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment and is seeking meaningful responsibility hands-on litigation experience and a clear path for continued professional growth.

The firm represents clients in complex litigation matters across a diverse range of practice areas including construction law healthcare liability oil & gas product liability trucking and transportation catastrophic injury premises liability and insurance coverage.

This role offers the opportunity to manage sophisticated matters from inception through resolution while working alongside a high-performing team of legal professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience strategic thinking and a proactive approach to case management and client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a full caseload from initial assignment through final resolution
• Handle all phases of written discovery and document review Assess
• Take and defend depositions
• Draft prepare and argue motions and other legal pleadings
• Attend hearings mediations and assist with trial preparation and strategy
• Evaluate liability exposure and damages to provide strategic recommendations
• Deliver timely detailed and substantive reporting and case analysis to clients
• Develop effective litigation strategies that align with client goals and case objectives

Qualifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas Bar
• Minimum of 7 year of defense litigation experience required
• Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong background in discovery depositions motion practice and mediation
• Ability to assess liability exposure and provide strategic case evaluations
• Trial-minded with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
