Program RISE is a multi-service component of JRI Health serving the Metrowest area (Framingham Natick Marlborough and surrounding towns). RISE offers preventive health and social services such as confidential screening for HIV Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and viral Hepatitis; HIV client services such as medical and housing case management and group support services for individuals affected and living with HIV/AIDS.
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $60000 to $70000 per year. This is a contract-funded position meaning the pay is contingent on contract funds available at the time of hire. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience education licensure certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In this role you will:
- Be a leader within the program consistent with program and overall agency philosophy and mission
- Provide leadership guidance and administrative direction and management to Program RISE team.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Program RISE site
- Monitor all program staff to ensure compliance with regulations and standards established by program funders.
- Operate the program within the financial expectations set forth by Division leadership.
- Ensure program compliance to all identified JRI policies that concern JRI health division inclusive but not limited to Fire Drills Emergency drills Armed intruder Drills appropriate use of EHR systems etc.
- Participate in division wide meetings as required.
- Understand and be able to apply practices that align with Program RISE service delivery. Examples can include knowledge of HIV/AIDS and related medical complexities medical risks of substance use and substance exposure overdose prevention STI knowledge base specific needs and advocacy needs of LGBTQIA individuals in program purview grant funding practices and reporting etc.
- Create a strong connection with individuals served staff and other service providers while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Demonstrate respect for and awareness of cultural and linguistic differences; practice active cultural and linguistic responsiveness in all interactions. Consistently implement all policies and procedures rules and regulations with respect for cultural differences.
- Ensure that staff meet the needs of clients served through service delivery model that is appropriate and congruent with any infection control protocols and clinical needs. This includes enforcing proper setting for service to be delivered whether that is in a JRI program site in the community in a client home etc.
- Complete all documentation in a timely manner (i.e. by program division and funder deadlines) according to policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development of grant proposals and reporting.
- Recruit train and coordinate orientation of RISE staff including volunteers.
- Perform staff performance evaluations.
- Ensure effective implementation of current and new policies and procedures set forth by JRI JRI Health and its funders.
- Provide orientation for new staff to ensure they understand the philosophy policies and procedures of the program
- Attend provide to staff and complete all mandated annual training requirements as defined by JRI policy and referral/funding/accreditation agencies.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in public health human services psychology education social work or a related field from an accredited college or university is required; Masters degree in one of the above fields from anaccredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience with target population served and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience working directly with LGBTQIA people people who use drugs and high-risk populations preferred.
- Strong analytic and reporting skills required.
- Must demonstrate strong team leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and supervisory experience required. Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with large teams on varying projects and respond to a dynamic workflow.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
