Associate Merchant - Kids Active
Relocation Required to Bentonville AR. This position is onsite 5 days a week.
As an Associate Merchant youll be a key driver in shaping the future of the Kids Active business serving as both a customer advocate and strategic business leader. Youll identify emerging trends build compelling assortments and bring innovative products and experiences to life across stores and eCommerce channels. Combining creativity with data-driven decision making youll leverage the scale partnerships and reach of the Walmart ecosystem to transform the category drive growth and make an impact for millions of customers and families every day. Relocation Required to Bentonville AR. This position is onsite 5 days a week.
What youll do:
- Setting the category strategy: youll establish strategy manage budgets to drive profitable growth and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience
- Building relationships: youll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers vendors business partners and other Associate Merchants
- Making decisions: youll make decisions about nearly every aspect of your products including replenishment supply chain manufacturers store operations planning assortment layouts budgets modular and pricing
- Designing developing and launching products: youll work with our Product Development and Sourcing team to create new products for Private Brands
- Manage a big business and be a true subject matter expert in your category.
- Strategize and choose the assortment in stores and online
- Knowing your category: youll know your customers and supplier better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your business
