Title: Associate Fund Accountant

Location: Boston MA; Waltham MA; Denver CO (hybrid)

About the Role

We are currently hiring Fund Accountants for our Denver a Fund Accountant youll help calculate the daily value of investment funds (known as Net Asset Value or NAV). Youll perform daily tasks to make sure the fund prices are accurate and delivered to clients on this role youll work with other teams analyze information received resolve questions or issues promptly and ensure there are no discrepancies with the calculations.

How You Will Make an Impact

Prepares a variety of fund reports for clients including: cash forecasts Net Assets Values (NAVs) yields distributions reconciliation and other fund accounting output.
Updates and reviews trading general ledger activity and pricing of funds.
Prepares and reconciles trial balances for assigned funds and prepares reconciliation of fund records to custodians and transfer agents.
Reviews complex investments and/or funds which may include international fixed income or derivatives securities

RequiredExperience

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or equivalent experience
Understanding of mutual funds is a plus
Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
High attention to detail
Microsoft Office skills specifically in Excel
Willing to work on site a minimum of 6 days/month

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills prior experience education demonstrated performance and geographic location.

Colorado: The expected base salary for the position is between $19.23 USD/hour to $33.65 USD/hour. Massachusetts: The expected hourly wage for the position is between $24.04 USD/hour to $36.06 USD/hour.

In addition employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for equity awards such as restricted stock units or stock options based upon individual and business performance at the companys discretion.
