Are you an earlycareer engineer looking for meaningful handson work with highimpact systems This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the testing troubleshooting and advancement of the U.S. Navys nuclearpowered submarine electric plant power and instrumentation and control systems. Youll build foundational technical skills while working directly with complex electrical and electronic systems in a oneofakind test environment.

What Youll Do
Perform handson testing data collection and analysis for shipboard power electronic systems
Support instrumentation and control system compatibility and qualification testing
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and systemlevel issues under guidance from experienced engineers
Contribute to the development and refinement of data acquisition systems and PLCbased automation
Help design and implement upgrades to test equipment and facilities
Work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate test execution and laboratory operations
Prepare clear written and verbal documentation to support engineering decisions and stakeholder communication

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical engineering or science field.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion LLC (FMP) a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
