Job Title: Associate Attorney

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ideally 14 years of attorney experience although candidates outside that range may be considered.
  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
  • Litigation creditors rights collections consumer finance or other courtroom experience is helpful but not required.
  • Comfortable appearing in court and traveling throughout Ohio when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing pleadings court documents balances addresses and other case information.
  • Able to thrive in a busy high-volume practice and manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative and willing to work closely with attorneys paralegals legal assistants and administrative staff.
  • Open to learning established processes rather than needing to reinvent existing workflows.
  • Professional and respectful when communicating with opposing parties including individuals representing themselves.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in an environment where attorneys are trusted to manage their own time and responsibilities.

  • Represents lending clients in matters throughout all 88 Ohio counties.
  • Handles approximately 300350 new files per month with a substantial ongoing portfolio of active and post-judgment matters.
