Pay: $180000.00 - $275000.00 per year

Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Calabasas California offering a blend of in-office collaboration and partial remote flexibility.

Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California State Bar and have 5 years of litigation experience. Experience with business commercial real estate or corporate transactional matters is highly preferred.

Job Description

• Represent clients in state and federal courts arbitrations mediations and administrative proceedings.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution including trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery legal memoranda and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions of parties witnesses and experts.
• Advise clients on business commercial and real estate disputes and transactions.
• Negotiate settlements and business agreements.
• Prepare and review corporate governance documents operating agreements partnership agreements bylaws and related legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies that align with clients business objectives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while working collaboratively with the legal team.

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar license required.
• 5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California and Federal court procedures.
• Excellent legal writing analytical negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Experience with business litigation commercial litigation real estate law or corporate transactions preferred.
• Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
