Key Responsibilities for the Assistant General Manager

• Support the GM in leading all FOH & BOH operations for a high-volume gastropub doing 400 covers on peak nights
• Hire train and develop managers and hourly staff with a focus on retention and culture
• Drive financial results through P&L management inventory controls and labor optimization
• Champion hospitality standards and ensure every guest leaves raving about their experience
• Partner with culinary and beverage teams to execute seasonal menu changes and events
• Maintain compliance with health safety and liquor laws while fostering a fun accountable workplace

Ideal Assistant General Manager Candidate

• 3 years as an AGM or 5 years as a Restaurant Manager in high-volume full-service gastropub or chef-driven concepts
• Strong financial acumen: able to read a P&L and turn data into action
• Hands-on leader whos comfortable on the floor during busy services
• Passion for craft food beer and cocktails with knowledge of current industry trends
