We are looking for a Assembler I - to join our team on the 2nd Shift! This position will be based at our Fort Worth TX site.
Hourly Rate: $17.50 - $21.00 5% Shift Differential Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Youll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/ measuring tools. Must be able to speak read write and comprehend the English Language Make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects stoop bend squat crawl and climb. Reach grasp lift 75lbs and push/pull/slide heavy material (as needed). Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Assembly/Wiring Experience Youll make an impact by:
Processing and scanning in and out work orders (utilizing computers scanning devices etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders. Reading and interpretation of documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (blueprints bill of materials one-line diagrams etc.). Collection of parts and accessories required in the assembly process assemble fabricated parts to build unit assemblies (Low Voltage Switchgear Switchboards and Power Panels) or subassemblies while using tools and equipment common to the mechanical and/or wiring trade (hand & power tools wire strippers pliers crimpers). Preparing finished units for shipping (packing sealing labeling etc.). Secure component parts on frames subassemblies or unit assemblies while verifying that units meet specifications tolerances and customer order requirements. Disassemble units to adjust or replace parts and connect cables and basic wires mark units with identifying information and/or attaches identifying tags reports non-conforming items. Performs other work as advised by Supervision.
