ASE Observability

The ASE Observability team is responsible for designing building and operating the core observability platforms that enable engineering organizations at Apple to monitor debug and optimize infrastructure and systems at scale. We develop platform solutions that provide comprehensive visibility into application performance system health and operational metrics across the entire technology are on a journey to continue building our next-generation observability platform with new capabilities like Distributed Tracing Logging and Continuous profiling.

Your responsibilities will include : Requirement gathering across cross functional teams Developing practical fault-tolerant high-performance distributed systems. Leading and participating in technical design discussions across cross functional teams. Gain in-depth understanding of the observability domain and come up with creative ideas in the domain. Experience and insight into designing implementing and supporting highly scalable infrastructure services.n5 to 15 years of industry experience in building and maintaining backend distributed understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures algorithms and concurrent attention to detail and excellent analytical for developing and testing clear robust to learn and apply new technologies and communication skills.

Having built Observability platforms at scale previously is a strong with OpenTelemetry and OSS tools in the Observability in one of Java Rust is with Kubernetes on Linux is a or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
