An Applied Process Technology (APT) Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will support APTs innovation portfolio across the global business. This may include engineering support in new product development pilot plant design and execution new technology design and chemical processing. May 10 2027 to August 20 2027

Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically 36-40 hoursa week.

In person. 9/80 schedule if applicable.

What youll do:

• Lead innovative engineering projects and improvement activities across Mosaic concentrate and mining processes including development of entirely new processes.

• Complete feasibility studies on new technology that could provide a step change improvement to aspects of mining and concentrate processing and product development.

• Actively engage with various levels of personnel including operations engineering and functional groups to share learnings and build collaborative networks.

• Participate and direct research activities in both laboratory and full-scale industrial operations.

• Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization including management plant operators engineers (of various disciplines) tradespersons and contractors.

• Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.

• Adhering to Mosaics mission guiding principles and priorities and key competencies.

What youll need:

• Junior level or above by May 2027 pursuing a bachelors in Chemical Mechanical Mining or industrial Engineering.

• 2.75 GPA or higher

• Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment.

• 1-2 years of experience volunteering working with student/school organizations orworkis preferred.

• Previousinternship or co-op experience is preferred.

• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

• Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

• Selected candidates willbe requiredto successfully completepost-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening background check physical functional capacity examination.

• Basic computer skills are required

• Experience working in a team environment is a must

• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable

• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus

• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments
