Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. Job Overview
The Analyst Commercial Categories supports procurement and supply chain activities for commercial spend categories that enable DePuy Synthes gotomarket and business operations. This role provides analytical operational and coordination support to category managers and crossfunctional stakeholders helping drive cost efficiency supplier performance and datadriven decisionmaking. The position offers broad exposure to strategic sourcing supplier management and commercial operations within a global medical device organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support procurement activities for commercial categories including marketing sales enablement professional services and other indirectspendareas.
Analyze spend supplier performance pricing and demand trends to develop reports dashboards and insights for category leaders.
Assistwith the execution of category strategies including sourcing initiatives supplier evaluations and costsavings programs.
Support contract administration pricing updates purchase order processes and supplier documentationin accordance withprocurement policies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing Sales Finance Legal and Operations to ensure alignment with business needs.
Track supplier issues performance actions and followups to support service continuity and compliance.
Maintainaccurateprocurement and supplier data within enterprise systems and tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to cost productivity process efficiency and supplier optimization.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degreein Business Supply Chain Management Finance Economics Operations or a related field
Experience and Skills
Required:
Typically02 years of relevant experience in procurement supply chain finance analytics or a related business role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear actionable insights
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and standard business reporting tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional teambased environment
Preferred:
Internship or earlycareer experience supporting procurement sourcing or commercial operations
Exposure to indirect or commercial spend categories (e.g. marketing agencies professional services)
Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba or similar platforms)
Familiarity with basic sourcing contracting or supplier management concepts
Interest in developing a career in procurement sourcing or supply chain operations

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
