Amerex 2nd Shift Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage employee and production line. Coordinate between management maintenance and employees to ensure efficient production.
What Youll Do:
- Utilize motorized pallet jack and Big Joe to move material throughout departments.
- Read and decipher schematics blueprints and assembly instruction.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company work and safety rules policies procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure the correct parts are used to assemble finished units and correct counts are reported into computer system.
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Demonstrate manual dexterity - the ability to precisely assemble parts/assemblies on fast paced production line.
- Comprehend and follow blueprints work instructions EHS and job procedures Job Safety Analysis and applicable paperwork.
- Communicate efficiently with team members.
- Data entry into Shopvue and other computer applications
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications :
- At least eighteen years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a post offer drug test background check and fitness review.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and self-motivational skills.
- Willing to train work and rotate through all department work stations and work in other departments as needed.
- Capable of working in seasonal high temperatures and humidity (conditioned air environment)
Working Conditions
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those and employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position may involve potential exposure to hazardous materials and environmental changes (heat/cold) and the employee must be able to work under stress occasioned by production requirements personnel and the needs of other departments utilizing proper body mechanics. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50lbs.
- Capable of standing/walking and performing light physical labor uninterrupted for periods of up to three hour intervals.
- Frequently bend stoop push and reach during the shift.
- Frequently stand walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
