Reviews requisitions to ensure completeness verifying patient name diagnosis description of requested exam etc.; adjusts equipment and selects appropriate technical factors to produce proper radiographic exposure; utilizes standard positioning techniques to obtain an optimal diagnostic image. Selects appropriate protocol for each CT scan procedure; ensures proper levels of density and contrast are utilized to obtain and optimal quality image. Performs scanning procedures of various organs to localize site of pathological process. Complete examination in a timely manner orders IV and oral contrast in powerchart. Documents administration of contrast and scans paperwork into Cerner. Perform exam completion complete screenings/consents and paper scanning in a timely manner. Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance SSN DOB RTO - NO RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER AUTO OFFER # of jobs in a system we can sub: no preference Requires 2 years of experience Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission References Required Locals accepted at same rate Candidates may float within facility within addition Radiology may float to an affiliate hospital nearby Copy of Certifications Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year and will be reviewed case by case Separation Policy : LBH- Sinai Hospital - does not allow travelers to work on assignment for more than 365 days regardless of time off between contracts. A separation period of at least six months is required to return to this facility as a traveler. Modules: Modules are non-billable; 8 hours for new starts and up to 175min annually and factored in NBO Modules are completed virtually on first day of contract and vary by specialty Annual modules are required for: Non-TELE RN units - 75min.
