Job Summary
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting (sanding stripping cleaning masking priming)
- Mix and apply paints primers and coatings following manufacturer specifications
- Perform full aircraft paint projects touch-ups and refinishing work
- Read and interpret paint drawings specifications and customer requirements
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain paint equipment spray guns and work areas in clean and organized condition
- Follow all OSHA EPA and company safety procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance production and quality teams to meet deadlines
- Ensure all work complies with aviation standards and company procedures
- Requires minimum 5 years of aircraft painting experience (corporate general aviation military or commercial)
- Must have knowledge of aircraft paint preparation and finishing processes
- Experience with spray equipment and paint mixing systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred: Experience with helicopter platforms general aviation or corporate aircraft and aerospace coatings
- Must provide own tools pass background check and drug screening and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work in MRO/hangar environment and meet physical demands of the position
