Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of our Transformational Technology - Data Operations team you will accelerate our organization towards this role you will leverage your expertise to design software and data solutions that enable the adoption of AI in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmSci) through the automation digitization and contextualization of scientific datasets.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with scientists to understandsystems and requirements related to data capture analysis andreporting including digitization of current paper-based processes.
Development of data products and custom applicationsto support downstream AI/ML use cases automation and data contextualization.
Development of data analysis and system integration pipelines.
Support GMP compliance activities where applicable for customdata productsor applications.
Onboarding of Pfizerscientiststo data applications/platforms and organization of workshops/training as applicable.
Work with robotics and automation teams to understand data needs and partner with other developers.
Curation and integration of relevant datasets from domains external to PharmSci.
Implementation testing and validation of new methods for data analysis and visualization techniques
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BSin Biology Chemistry Physics Statistics ComputerSciencesor a related technical disciplinewith 4 years of experience in a software development role focused on embedded systems and/or data operations
Masters degree and2 years of experience in a software development role focused on embedded systems and/or data operations
Recent PhD graduate in a related technical discipline.
Experience with data handlingintegrationand analysis
Strong experience with SQL and cloud data warehouses
Experience developing data products and data integration solutions in a research or industry environment
Experience solving complex analyses/problems in a timely fashion
Exceptional programming skills inat least one systems language (e.g. C C# Java Go) and python.
Strong communication skillsverbal written and presentation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven expertise in software engineering package development cloud architectures CI/CD and software engineering tooling
Familiarity with pertinent libraries within the scientific Python stack
Experience withGithubCopilot or other AI-enabled coding tools that accelerate solution delivery.
Experience taking ideas from prototype to production
Experience in regulated industry & software validation practices
This is a hybrid role requiring you to live within commuting distance and work on-site an average of 2.5 days per week or more as needed.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
May require travel to other PharmSci sites from time to time (< 10%)
