AH-64 Maintenance Engineering Manager

The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) Maintenance Engineering organization is seeking first-line managers (K) to lead the Product Support team for Attack Helicopters in Mesa AZ. The primary responsibility is to lead the BGS Maintenance Engineering team supporting the AH-64. This position will direct and manage Technical Publications oversee integration of domestic technical data deliveries develop new product offerings and go-to-market strategies to capture additional business and effectively manage develop and motivate the team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads planning and integration activities for stand-alone support program(s) or major support business/program element where business needs dictate.
- Applies technical knowledge of product support/logistics disciplines and Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities.
- Manages employees performing activities related to cost schedule quality and risk management.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with military technical publications as an author reviewer or quality control / quality assurance
- 3 years of experience do you have developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers and partners
- Experience with military aircraft maintenance processes policies culture and/or standard practices
- 10 years of experience working in a professional environment
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader temp manager large scale cross functionalproject/program management or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Previous aerospace industry experience
- Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
- Experience with the military rotorcraft market
- Experience as a leader or manager
