After-School CARES Assistant

St Catherine Of Siena Preschool in Horsham PA (Montgomery County) is seeking an After-School CARES Assistant Teacher

The primary purpose of the After-School CARES Assistant Teacher is to supervise interact and engage with three and four-year-old students in a classroom and playground setting. Working hours are Monday through Friday 2:30 PM or 3 PM to 6 PM with the potential for additional hours.

Duties Include:

• Supervise the preschool students at all times to ensure safety and healthy interaction with other students
• Organize and lead daily activities for preschool students
• Assist the preschool students with daily activities such as arts and crafts indoor learning centers and afternoon snack
• Supervise the preschool students during gross motor activities: playing on playground equipment riding bicycles and taking walks as a group

Requirements*:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years experience in a child-care facility or preschool
• Copies of updated clearances (FBI fingerprint Child Abuse and Criminal Background) will be required upon hiring
• CPR / AED certification (preferred)
