Summary:
Analyze manufacturing operations and develop process improvements and recommendations
Create detailed work instructions to drive efficiency and zero-defect production
Develop rework instructions (DRDI/DMT) and manage engineering change implementation
Author and manage MBOMs in systems such as SAP Solumina or Corridor
Conduct make-or-buy analysis support vendor selection and resolve supplier issues
Perform productibility studies from engineering drawings
Support planning scheduling and resource allocation for manufacturing activities
Apply statistical analysis to forecast manufacturing requirements and performance
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across multiple organizations
Develop and present business cases for process improvements
Ensure adherence to quality safety sustainability and ergonomic standards
Train and support team members; may lead or supervise personnel
Stay current with advanced manufacturing technologies and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
4 years of manufacturing engineering or related experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes tooling and production flow
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP Solumina Corridor etc.)
Strong analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of tools such as 5S JIT SMED Kanban VSM One Piece Flow
Experience with data-driven decision making and statistical analysis
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification
Experience with CATIA CADAM or similar tools
Leadership or team coordination experience
