This position is located at Roanoke River Correctional Institution a medium and minimum custody facility.

Salary Range: $31200 - $51249

This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor this position will provide clerical support to the facility maintenance department. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintain maintenance files/records according to departmental policy allowing quick easy access and retrieval of information upon request. Compose memos/letters with limited instructions from supervisor proofreading documents for spelling punctuation and grammar. Input and comprehend computer-generated data and must be skilled in use of MS Word and Excel. Review completed tasks to ensure accuracy/integrity of information. This position is involved in the following: accounts payable for the maintenance department. This position is responsible for all aspects of Procurement Card purchases as well as reconciling the Procurement Cards accounts within a timely manner. Meet daily and monthly reporting deadlines and conduct minutes for monthly meeting. Receive and process maintenance orders of equipment and materials needed to complete work orders. Create monitor and close work orders. Work independently and in close proximity with inmates and other staff. Assist management staff when directed with other additional clerical duties as needed assistance in other departments.
Minimum Education and Experience
