Department Summary
The Department of Accounting promotes professional and ethical development through education research and service that advance the field of accounting.
UNT has a highly diverse campus with a wide range of languages spoken in addition to English. We welcome candidates who have experience with HSI/MSIs and/or who speak Spanish Vietnamese American Sign Language Chinese (Cantonese Mandarin and other variations) Arabic Tagalog Farsi French or/and Yoruba.
Position Overview
The Department of Accounting seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2026 Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters. Specific course offerings may vary by semester and teaching opportunities are dependent on departmental needs.
The anticipated need is for courses covering various areas of Accounting including but not limited to financial accounting managerial accounting auditing taxation accounting information systems and ethics in accounting.
Minimum Qualifications
A masters degree in the discipline or a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the assigned courses(s).
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation from an AACSB-accredited institution. Industry experience and certifications relevant to the teaching area. Teaching experience at the college level.
