Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile statements and invoices and issue payments to vendors.
• Process checks disbursements for accounts payable.
• Post transactions to journals ledgers and other records.
• Ensure accounts payable transactions are accurately reconciled.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Research and resolve discrepancies and issues.
• Create and maintain vendor files.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to their inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks.
• Provide coverage for the receptionist desk as needed.
• Offer general office support as required.
• Undertake special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus!

Preferred Skills:

• Cash handling experience.
• Good understanding of basic mathematical concepts.
• Proficiency in data entry.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and a neat work area.

The annual pay ranges from $41600 to $62400.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits (Medical Dental VisionHSA 401K) are available after the probationary period.
