This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process improving systems and controls and partnering across the business. Youll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting supporting audits and mentoring a growing accounting team all while helping Vacatia scale with confidence.

What Youll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance
• Review and approve journal entries reconciliations accruals and financial schedules
• Prepare and analyze financial statements variance analyses and management reports
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Lead internal and external audits including documentation preparation and audit responses
• Partner cross-functionally to improve financial workflows and strengthen internal controls
• Support the integration of new resorts entities or acquisitions into accounting systems
• Identify and lead process improvements that enhance efficiency scalability and transparency
• Coach mentor and support accounting team members to drive performance and development

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• 6 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience managing close processes in multi-entity environments (hospitality or real estate a plus)
• Proficiency with accounting systems and general ledger management
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally
• CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred
