Accountant

Salary: $80k to $90k plus bonus

Overview

High profile Accountant position with significant exposure to leadership. Successful candidate will have Big 4 experience and the CPA exam or actively pursuing. Top compensation plus long-term incentives. 2 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting for entity acquisitions and divestitures
• Review financial statement accounts by analyzing account balances researching variations and obtaining entity commentary
• Collaborate with other Finance teams to assist with analysis and to ensure accurate presentation of financial results
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in financial reporting by preparing ad hoc analyses/reports and assisting with special projects
• Provide accounting guidance/instructions to business divisions/legal entities
• Ensure compliance with Finance policies and procedures internal controls and S404 requirements
• Prepare consolidation journal entries including processing post-closing adjustments
• Prepare and reference 10Q/10K footnote disclosures

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years of experience in an accounting related role internal audit or Big 4 public accounting
• Understanding of the relationship between income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Ability to analyze financial reports and to prepare and maintain various supporting schedules
• Proficient experience working with Microsoft Excel
• CPA or MBA a plus
