About the Role:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in cost accounting and financial accounting
- Proficiency in accounting systems and software
- Experience with bank reconciliation and general ledger management
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification.
- Experience with financial audits and audit preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a corporate finance or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements reports and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and applicable regulations
- Assist with audits and respond to audit inquiries
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Identify process improvements and support financial controls
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights
