Job Summary

Accountant Clean Up Team
Location: Indianapolis IN (100% Onsite)
Required Qualifications

2 4 years of accounting or auditing experience
6 years of knowledge and application of GAAP
6 years of knowledge and application of GAAS
2 years of PeopleSoft experience
Strong experience with account reconciliations journal entries and financial data analysis
Ability to work independently and resolve complex accounting issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Euna Financial & Grants software
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
2 years of auditing experience
Government or State accounting experience
Knowledge of federal/state budgeting grant requirements and fiscal policies

Key Responsibilities

Reconcile and close legacy projects
Audit historical project activities and correct discrepancies
Process journal entries and revenue transactions in PeopleSoft
Review grant awards and financial requirements
Coordinate with finance teams to complete project closeouts
Perform comprehensive financial reviews and ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance
