About the Role

This is a relationship-driven growth-oriented sales role focused on expanding revenue within an assigned book of reseller clients while developing new accounts. You are not just selling products. You are:

  • A trusted advisor to IT resellers
  • A strategic growth partner inside your accounts
  • A hunter for whitespacewithin existing clients and new prospects

Success in this role comes from deeply understanding how your customers make moneyand helping them make more.

What You Will Own

Account Growth & Retention

  • Expand share of wallet across an existing book of business
  • Identify and win competitive displacement opportunities
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across client organizations
  • Maintain and actively use account plans (SWOT growth strategy risk signals)

New Business Development

  • Prospect and convert new reseller accounts
  • Re-engage dormant or former Image Star customers
  • Establish a strong beachhead and scale from initial wins

Commercial Leadership

  • Position Image Stars full portfolio of products programs and services
  • Align internal teams (ops purchasing leadership) to solve customer needs
  • Act as the voice of the customer inside the business

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

  • Confidently articulate Image Stars value proposition and programs
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of your vertical/customer segment
  • Become proficient in JD Edwards (ERP) and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
  • Consistently exceed:
    • 200 outbound calls per day (AI dialer assisted)
    • 1 hours of talk time
  • Show measurable progress toward:
    • Revenue ramp targets
    • New account activation


Qualifications

Experience

  • B2B sales experience preferred (tech distribution or channel strongly favored)
  • Early-career candidates with strong drive and aptitude will be considered

Technical Fit

  • Comfort with IT hardware workplace technology or adjacent products
  • Ability to quickly learn product positioning and use cases

Other Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent performance in a sales environment
  • Willingness to travel 12x per quarter
  • Onsite in Middletown CT (5 days/week)
