Job Summary
Schedule: Per Diem - NIGHTSA per diem RN must be able to work- 16 shifts every 6 months 4 need to be weekend shifts. One summer and one winter holiday
6 South is a 37 private bed med/telemetry teaching unit. You will see a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions including (but not limited to) asthma COPD renal disease DKA DVT HTN PE and sepsis. On this unit you will have exposure to the latest technology including telemetry Vocera Epic and CVM (constant monitoring system).
Qualifications
BSN required
Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
ACLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
