3rd Shift Boiler Refrigeration Mechanic

Conagra Brands in Marshall Missouri a local supplier of Banquet products is seeking qualified individuals to fill the Boiler Refrigeration Mechanic position. Reporting to the Senior Engineer you will work on-site at one of Conagras largest manufacturing facilities with over 800 employees.

You Will:

• Troubleshoot remove install replace re-build repair & test parts/components on plant & production equipment.
• Perform basic welding fabrication and machining tasks as well as read blueprints drawing and plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair heating ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration equipment involving ammonia & other refrigerants.
• Perform daily check of all refrigeration systems as required.
• Replace repair and maintain all energy systems boilers ammonia systems coolers air compressors HVAC systems and apparatus.
• Clean evaporators and condensers as scheduled change recorder charts and maintain recording equipment.
• Monitor repair clean plant systems water condensers evaporators dump traps accumulators sight glasses and filtration systems.
• Keep mechanical equipment in good condition and working order.
• Inspect machines and equipment to locate problems replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments to ensure a continuous production operation.
• Use manuals repair manuals parts manuals parts diagrams to troubleshoot plant & production equipment.
• Use hand & power tools to remove install replace re-build repair & test parts/equipment on plant & production equipment.
• Perform electrical and/or pneumatic work on production machines.

You Have:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year mechanic experience in a manufacturing or production environment & electrical experience.
• Ability to work the scheduled/assigned days and hours including required overtime.
• Carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and write English for completion of production/quality documents.
• Familiar with and ability to use basic shop equipment electric arc welder plasma cutter torch and basic hand tools.
