Business Overview As the companys second line of defense Corporate Risk or Independent Risk Management provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Managementestablishesand maintains Wells Fargos risk management program and provides oversight including challenges to and independent assessmentofthefrontlinesexecution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to theRisk Management Frameworkand ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.
Program Overview The Corporate Risk Development Program (CRDP) is designed to provide students and recent college graduates with a blend of foundational risk-specific and career development opportunities incorporating real-world experiences through on-the-job learning instructor-led training and professional development.
At its core CRDP is built on immersive hands-on learning. Throughoursignature experiential training sessions participants move beyond traditionalclassroomlearning to engage directly with the businessworking through real scenarios interacting with front-line partners and gaining firsthand insight into how risk isidentified assessed and managed across the firm. These experiences are intentionally designed to simulate real-world challenges accelerate development and provide a level of exposure that goes well beyond a typical rotational program.
Throughout the two-year program participants rotate across Corporate Risk functions while receiving structured coaching performance feedback and development support to build the technicalexpertise business perspective and professional skills needed to succeed at Wells Fargo.#earlycareers
Responsibilities may include:
Engage in immersive experience-driven learning through signature training sessions speaker series and direct interaction with senior leaders across Corporate Risk
Contribute to high-impact risk initiatives supporting the design analysis and execution of projects involving moderate complexity across Corporate Risk
Analyze complex datasets using tools such as SQL Python and Power BI generating insights that inform risk decisions and business strategies
Gain firsthand exposure to front-line risk management building an understanding of how risk isidentified assessed and managed across lines of business
Leverage emerging technologies including AI and advanced analytics tools to enhance data analysisidentifypatterns and improve risk management outcomes
Translate data and analysis into clear actionable insights effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally with risk teams and business stakeholders building relationships while contributing to solutions that addressreal businesschallenges
Support the coordination and execution of strategic risk initiatives gaining exposure to how enterprise priorities are implementedatscale
Take ownership of your developmentoperatingwith accountability curiosity and a sense of urgency while buildingexpertisein risk management practices
Work onreal businesschallenges applying critical thinking to analyze risk issuesidentifyroot causes and develop solutions that influence outcomes

Required Qualifications US:
6 months of work experience or equivalentdemonstratedthrough one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
Desired Qualifications:
Successful completion of 2026 Corporate Risk Internship Program
Currently pursuing a bachelors degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 June 2027 in the fields of one or more of the following: STEM Statistics Economics FinanceAccountingand/or Analytics
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster an inclusive environment and activelyseekand apply feedback to support effective collaboration.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint); ability to apply tools effectively in a professional setting.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data insights and technical acumen toidentifyrisk trends learn quickly adapt to change and support innovative risk.
Ability to execute with urgency drive operational excellence and apply an enterprise mindset to support effective well-managed risk operations.
Demonstrated ownership and accountability with the ability to prioritize work meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Strong business and financial acumen with a commitment to providing excellent service and supporting risk-related decisions that drive business impact.
Ability to act with integrity support risk assessments and risk-based testing apply risk controls and compliance requirements and use sound credit managementjudgmentto help manage risk effectively.
Demonstrated interest or experience in data analysis and emerging technologies including tools such as SQL Python&Power BI.
Familiarity withAIpoweredproductivity tools (such aschatbasedassistants andbuiltinfeatures like Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday tasks including research organizing information and creating presentations with a strong interest in learning and using these tools responsibly.
