Job Description:

We are looking for aLaborer to provide support by performing basicrailcarrepairs.You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts work orders blueprints schematics and sketches.You willassistwith performing a variety of rail car repair related tasks and working in a TEAM environmentestablishinggood working relationships at all levels.

Job Requirements:

• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as pneumatic and hydraulic tools grinders jacks welders cutting torches forklifts and cranes.

• Read specifications shop drawings schematics and blueprints.

• The ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

• The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling materials.

• The ability to lift 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.

• Ability to work within a teamwork environment with regular and predictable attendance.

• Keep materials area and other work areas clean and orderly and report potential hazards.

• Able to pass drug screen physical.
